GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Volleyball finished their regular season with a 2-1 record on the week. Monday night was Senior Night where the Wolverines defeated Central Valley 3-1. The following day the Wolverines traveled to Beaver Falls and picked up another section victory in straight sets, 3-0. The final game of the regular season included a very tough matchup against undefeated Beaver Bobcats and they did not disappoint - going undefeated on the regular season beating EC 3-0. The Wolverines received the #12 seed in the 2A WPIAL Playoffs, which seems low based upon their success druing the year and their big victory over Neshannock. On the flip side, the match ups in the Pigtail and First Round games are going to benefit the Wolverines while #9 Shenango will have a date with the #1 team in Freeport if they win first round. The Pigtail match is set for Monday Night against…#21 Central Valley. Possible live stream coverage could be presented by Lawrence County Sportsnet.
