New Helling Stadium is open to the public

The ECASD School Board members along with the companies that made the project happen, welcomes you to the “newly” renovated and turfed field at Helling Stadium that is now officially open to the public!

The Wolverines football team played their first official game at the stadium against Beaver Falls during Homecoming Night that was a victory in favor of the Tigers, but the evening belonged to those in Royal Blue and White on the night.

On Monday the Ellwood City Community along with ECS was able to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony where the newly renovated field was open to the public. Concession stands were open as the Track and Field, Cross Country, LHS Marching Blue Band, Cheerleaders, Football team, Soccer team, and the rest of the EC community all were able to come out onto the field and take in the new view at Helling Stadium.
