EC battles strong, comes up short to Warriors

 
 

The Wolverines battled until the last hole, but finished just 9 strokes behind the Mohawk Warriors. The Warriors won the match 203-212.

Battling strong were the likes of Jordan Keller and Mitch Covert both shooting 40s while finishing strong was Colten Crizer posting a 42.

The Wolverines fall to 2-1 (1-1) on the season, but have posted three match scores of 223, 214, and 203 respectively (an average score of just over 42 per golfer).

Next up for the Wolverines is a home section match at Delmar on Monday (8/22) 3:15 PM vs. Riverside as the first edition of the rival Riv-Ell Cup for the school year begins.
