Maddy McCommons finishes 13th in Playoffs

Maddy McCommons finished off the 2022 Golf season for the Wolverines as she competed at the WPIAL Finals this past week, finishing 13th overall.

Maddy qualified with a 113 (+41) during the first round and 16th overall, but was able to improve that mark dramatically with a solid 99 (+27) in the second round / WPIAL Finals. Maddy finished with a total of 212 (+68) and came in with an improvement of three spots, finishing 13th overall.

Maddy also JUST missed qualifying for PIAA States at Penn State next Monday by a total of 7 strokes. Maddy finishes off a great career for the Wolverines’ golf teams while also competing at the same time in the Fall on the courts for Tennis.
